Supporting Independence in a Caring Community
Pinaroo began its journey in aged care with the opening of a five-cottage development in 1968, followed by the addition of a 12-bed residential unit complex in 1971. Since these early foundations, Pinaroo has continued to grow, evolving into a fully accredited, state-of-the-art facility that now provides care for up to 71 residents.
In 2023, we proudly completed our latest expansion—ten independent living units, a mix of newly constructed and newly renovated homes, located directly behind our aged care facility. These modern units are situated within a secure, gated community, offering both privacy and peace of mind for our independent residents.
Each unit features two spacious bedrooms and an open-plan living design tailored to meet the needs of those aged 65 and over. These homes offer an affordable and comfortable living option for retirees in our community.
Residency is managed through a tenancy agreement with Pinaroo. Eligible residents may also apply for rent assistance and access independent home care packages as needed, helping support a vibrant and self-sufficient lifestyle.
